Synopsis
Adapted by Florian Zeller and Academy Award® winner Christopher Hampton (The Father, Dangerous Liaisons, Atonement), from Zeller’s acclaimed stage play, Academy Award® nominee Hugh Jackman (The Greatest Showman, X-Men, Les Misérables) stars as Peter whose busy life with his new partner is thrown into disarray when his ex-wife Kate, played by Academy Award® winner Laura Dern (Marriage Story, Little Women, Jurassic World) arrives with their troubled and distant teenage son, setting the family on a dangerous collision course.
The Son is produced by Academy Award® winners Iain Canning and Emile Sherman (Ammonite, Lion, The King’s Speech), Joanna Laurie of See-Saw Films, and Christophe Spadone (The Father).
